中國世界貿易組織研究會是中華人民共和國商務部直屬管理的從事世貿組織（WTO）及相關經濟和貿易問題研究的全國性社團組織。由全國長期致力于世貿組織相關事務的政府官員、權威專家學者和機構自愿組成，是國內進行世貿組織有關事務研究、咨詢、培訓、編輯、出版、國際交流與合作的權威機構之一。

宗旨

服務國家，面向企業，依托智庫院校，開展國際合作。

主要職能

• 研究世界貿易組織相關理論和實際問題；
• 組織國內外學術成果、工作經驗和信息交流；
• 向我國政府部門、企業提供培訓、咨詢和法律服務；
• 國內外信息采編，編輯出版書籍、報刊、音像資料，宣傳普及世界貿易組織知識；
• 促進我國與包括廣大發展中國家在內的所有世貿組織成員的自由、公平貿易和經濟技術合作；
• 推動我國企業參與國際競爭；
• 促進和推動我國與其他國家和地區包括自貿區在內的區域性經濟合作；

• 協助我國政府部門在完善多邊貿易體制進程中發揮積極和建設性作用。

     China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (CWTO) is the sole nation-wide

 non-govemmental organization of studying WTO and relevant economic and trade 

issues based in Beijing, China. Formed voluntarily by government officials, experts, 

scholars, and institutions all over the country engaged in WTO-related affairs, CWTO 

is one of the authoritative institutions in the country carrying out research, consulting, 

training, compilation, publication, and international exchange and cooperation activities 

in connection with WTO.

Our mission

     To serve the country, support enterprises, rely on think tanks and universities, 

and international cooperation.

Main functions:

• 1.Study on WTO-related theories and practical issues;

• 2.Organize domestic and international exchanges of academic research, work 

     experiences and information;

• 3.Provide relevant training, consultancy and legal services to China’s government 

     agencies, industries, and enterprises;

• 4.Collect information, edit and publish books, newspapers, audio and video materials,

     and periodicals to popularize WTO knowledge;

• 5.Promote free-and-fair trade, and economic and technological cooperation between 

     China and other WTO members, including  developing countries;

• 6.Encourage Chinese enterprises to participate in global competition;

• 7.Enhance regional economic cooperation between China and other economies including

     FTAs;

• 8.Assist the Chinese government to play an active and constructive role in improving 

     the world trading system.
